In which Lyla Waterson (= me)
dissects the world of chemicals (= 'beauty' products).
After an extremely long and repetitive conversation with Aimes about the merits of using paraben-free shampoos and conditioners, I was driven to build this site.

(Just in case you want to spam your friends too.)
Seriously, Aimes, if you're reading this: you are one of the smartest ppl I know, but somehow when it comes to chemistry you would rather get me to do the work while you sit around playing The Rider.
Just in case it needs explaining (yes, this means YOU, Aimes), I have made things easier by compartmentalising the intel.
- There's a page about shampoos and other cosmetics.
- There's a page about deodorants and anti-perspirants.
- There's a page about deconstructing advertising and labels. (Even you, Byron, could understand this.)
The bottom line?
Less is more.
Read the label.
